Thanks all who ran in the Carn Ingli killer race on Tuesday night. Great conditions led to the records being broken. First home was Maidenhead athletic club runner Sam Brewster breaking the record by 11 secs. The female record was smashed by Celia Boothman as she romped home 9th in 32.22, 2min 29sec faster than the previous female record! She must be a good self coach. Some other great battles were had too- 3 secs between 2nd and 3rd; 4secs between 4th and 5th; 3secs between 9th and 10th; 1 sec between 11th and 12th; 7secs between 13th and 14th. Lots of newbies who loved the route, the views, and obviously, the tea and cake! Huge thanks again to all who travelled to run, to the brilliant fab marshals, and to Domi for supplying the beers. 😉
